Petra Allied Health offers an 84-hour Limited Licensed Radiologic Technologist (LLRT) program designed to prepare students
to perform diagnostic X-rays under the supervision of a physician. The curriculum focuses on the physics of image
production and radiation safety as well as the mathematics needed to pass the core licensing exam, and training of
radiographic positions. X-ray procedures covered include the chest, skull, spine, and upper & lower extremities. Graduates
are eligible to sit for the ARRT Limited Scope of Practice in Radiography Exam, which is required by the State of Arkansas
and most other states to become a Limited Licensed Radiologic Technologist. (Contact the Department of Health in other
states to confirm reciprocity with an Arkansas LLRT license.)
