Allied health professions are health care professions distinct from dentistry, nursing, medicine, and pharmacy. They provide a range of diagnostic, technical, therapeutic, and support services in connection with health care. SEE OUR PROGRAMS HERE.

What is Different about Petra vs. Competitors?
- Oldest locally owned Allied Health School in the NWA / Ft. Smith areas
- Lowest tuition by far
- No unnecessary training or costs
Providing quality and affordable education has always been Petra’s mission. Our key to keeping our programs affordable is to provide the training needed for certification for an entry level position, but not expanding further than that, which would extend the time and costs needed from the student. Our students really want to get to work in their chosen field, and our programs help them do that.
When looking for a school to attend, I was lost. I had so many options. I decided to call and talk to each school to see what each one had to offer. When I called Petra, I got to personally speak with the owner. He took his time and explained every detail about the school and answered every question I had. I’m now going on my 3rd week in the Medical Assistant program and I am 110% sure I made the right decision choosing Petra! Madison
