Course Overview

Build your dental career with our comprehensive 240-hour Dental Assistant program that includes 200 hours of hands-on classroom training plus a 40-hour real-world externship completed during the program.

Dental Assistants are vital members of dental care teams in private practices, clinics, and specialty offices. Upon completion, you’ll take the Arkansas Registered Dental Assistant exam hosted at our facility—your pathway to professional certification.

 

Externship Requirements

  • Pair of scrubs
  • Current flu shot
  • Criminal background check
  • Drug screening

 

Important Notes

  • Plan for time off work during your externship assignment
  • Complete health screenings before your final two weeks of class
  • Some employers require candidates to be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED

Admission Requirements

Tuition, Books and Fees

  • $50 – Non-refundable Registration Fee (due at time of admission, transferable one time)
  • $3,400 – Tuition
  • $250 – Lab Fee
  • $170 – Textbook (may be purchased at the school)

Total Program Cost: $3,870

Certification and Registration Fees

  • $50 – CPR Certification for an HCP Card
  • $140 – Fees for Nitrous, Coronal Polishing, & Radiology Exam
  • $4 – State Registration Fees

Payment Plans / Financial Assistance

Full Payment: Due by the first day of class

Payment Plans: Two-payment or four-payment plans are available

    • Divides tuition and lab fees accordingly
    • Includes 2% finance fee on tuition only
    • Book costs and finance fee are included in the first payment
