Veterinary Assistants are essential members of animal healthcare teams in veterinary clinics, animal hospitals, emergency care centers, and specialty practices. This program includes 48 hours of classroom instruction and a 16-hour hands-on externship in a real-world veterinary setting, giving you practical experience before graduation.
Admission Requirements
- Complete application and agree to terms in "Class Registration Form" and Program Bulletin
- If under 18, a parent or guardian must sign the registration form (Note: Common hiring age is 18 or older. If hired under the age of 18, job duties may be limited.)
Tuition, Books and Fees
- $50 – Non-refundable Registration Fee (due at time of admission, transferable one time)
- $950 – Tuition
- $175 – Lab Fee
- $145 – Textbook (may be purchased at the school)
Total Program Cost: $1,320
Certification and Registration Fees
- $100 – AAH National Certification (payable to AAH after last day of class)

Full Payment: Due by the first day of class
Payment Plans: Two-payment or four-payment plans are available
